Methods of automatic analysis of image for supporting development of web sites with dynamic design

This paper proposes methods for automatic constructing color palettes of images, searching for images on color palettes as well as detecting region of image which does not contain important information and can be used for placing other design elements. Various approaches to implementation of these methods are considered. The results of an experimental investigation of possibility of application the suggested methods for Web design are presented.
