Computational module for regional climate change analysis

Abstract
An approach is presented that realizes quantitative description of spatiotemporal regional climate changes. Key characteristics determining both dynamics of climatic processes and their extremes are described using a set of approved methods of mathematical statistics. A program system has been developed to realize this approach. The paper presents characteristics of this program system and results of its application to analysis of contemporary changes of surface air temperature and precipitation amount in Siberia.
