Personal publication directories management with use of Semantic Web Techologies

In the course of their daily activities, one is confronted with increasingly large volumes of information, much of which is stored in digital format. Personal Information Management Systems can help in the task of organization and management of these data. In previous works the basic architecture of a semantic personal information management system was designed. In this paper we consider a module of this system that supports work with scientific publications. Module provides user interfaces for working with publications, supports automatic metadata extraction from texts of publications, and retrieves additional information about publications from Linked Open Data.
